You may attend up to three outdoor events (e.g. walking, cycling, or hiking) as our guest before joining the club. Membership is required after participation in three outdoor events. To join, follow the steps listed below.

Membership Steps:

  • Join (please use your first name and initial, and a profile photo)
  • Join Victoria Club Tread Meetup (Our VCT Meetup group on the website)
  • Complete one, two or three outdoor events, then notify the Membership Coordinator: 

  • Complete the application form.  Link to Application Form 
  • Sign the annual waiver:
    • Download the waiver
    • Open the editable PDF file and read in full.  
    • Fill in the signature (typing in your name will suffice as your signature), and check each of the 4 checkboxes highlighted in blue. 
    • Save the file and email as an attachment to .
  • Pay the dues:  Membership fees are $30, you may pay by Interac e-transfer from your online banking:  Please send the $30 payment to Victoria Club Tread at .  If you do not have access to Interac e-transfer, please contact .


  • To ensure we match the payment to the correct person, please send an email to  stating: 
    • the name of the member who is joining
    • the amount of the e-transfer
    • the date of the e-transfer
    • the name of the person who has made the e-transfer.

Membership Fees Explained

There are  annual membership dues for Club Tread, currently $30, in order to cover costs incurred during the year. Some of these costs are as follows:

  • Website and Meetup fees and maintenance
  • Liability Insurance for Officers, hike leaders, and other volunteers;
  • Other club costs, including social events, meeting costs and safety equipment.
