Heliotrope Ridge Trailhead: Take US highway 542 to the town of Glacier, 1 mile beyond the town turn right onto Glacier Creek road 39 and continue to a parking lot signed "Heliotrope Ridge Trail". (A $5 parking fee is charged.)

Dayhike3 boot (moderate).2.5 hours one way. 

Features

This trail features flowers, forests, glacial views, meadows, mountains and Magnificent views of the Coleman Glacier from the end of the trail.

Hazards

Unbridged creek crossings (can be crossed by rock hopping but be careful for wet and slippery rocks).
